Over the past few months, I’ve met virtual assistants, meeting planners and other virtual support professionals who have shared that they’re looking for something new.

Does this sound like you?

Have you hit a brick wall in your virtual support or meeting planning business?

Are you highly skilled in a particular task, but you’re making little mistakes over and over?

If you’ve said yes to any of the questions above, I invite you to join me on Wednesday June 22, 2011 at 8pm Eastern for a live webiclass. On this day, I’m going to share with you…

Profit Refresh: How to Bring More Excitement and More Income to Your Support Business Becoming a Virtual Event Manager

The 3 reasons why you’re making mistakes in your business (and why it isn’t your fault)

How to give yourself a quick promotion and have your clients recognize it too

How to be part of a brand new and cutting edge community that brings you excitement and rebuilds your confidence

I’m also going to share my own journey, a story I have only once shared before. After you hear what I have to say, you’ll know why I truly understand why mistakes happen in your support business.

A year ago, I launched a program and no one registered. I know product launches like the back of my hand, so I was flabbergasted when no sales poured in.

Then, I got desperate. I launched program after program. Still no one signed up. 2010 turned out to be one of the most miserable years since being in business. My confidence took a hit and I was doubting my own expertise. When my Fall 2010 workshop didn’t fill, I knew something needed to change.

That’s when Nancy Marmolejo launched one of the most innovative programs I’ve seen to date. She called it SpotlightU and invited me to take the assessment. I was filled with doubts, but given that I hit rock bottom in my business, I took the assessment.

What happened after that I describe in the video below. I share how Nancy’s SpotlightU shifted one thing in my marketing which helped me to fill a program 30-days before the training started. And I attracted to the program exactly the type of person I really want to work with.

I’ve blogged a few times about my feelings against hosting a free telesummit. That’s the one where you get all the sessions after you input your email address and first name in a sign up box.

Telesummits and virtual events cost money to run. You have to pay money to:

rent a bridge line service

get your assistant to help you with the administrative tasks

buy materials to send to attendees

get a graphic designer to design the creatives

get the recordings transcribed (the most expensive virtual event task)

and more…

I conducted a survey asking those who have organized telesummits how much they spent to produce it. Close to 76% of respondents spent between $500 to $2,500 to produce their telesummit or virtual event.

Some telesummit hosts and organizers “cheap out” by not paying for some of the tasks above and instead, do it themselves. If you put sweat equity into producing your telesummit or virtual event, the stains of mediocrity will show through your sales page like sweat marks on a blue, button up cotton shirt.

This is NOT the solution.

My friend, Shannon Cherry, has convinced me that you can host a free telesummit only if you do one simple thing.

Want to find out what that is? I’m hosting a 60-minute call at 8pm Eastern on October 13, 2010 called:

The One Simple Secret to Turn a Free Telesummit Into a Financial Windfall

Using Shannon’s tips, I was able to generate close to $60,000 using the free telesummit model and I’m happy that Shannon has agreed to share this info with you.

Register for this no-cost call by clicking here. I’ll be using the refresh model for tonight’s preview call, so if you want an example of how to do your preview calls differently, sign up as well.

Of course, if you can’t make the call live, register anyways because only those on the list will receive the access to the limited time recording.

Looking forward to sharing Shannon’s tips and advice with you.

Update: You can get the recording by clicking here.

I love telesummits. However, the current model is no longer working. When my friend, Milana Leshinsky, pioneered the telesummit format back in 2005 with her Coaching Telesummit, it was new, fresh and innovative.

Since then, many have gone on to create their own telesummits in various niches. Yet, as the years wore on, so did the telesummit novelty. Five years later, people are crying out for a refresh of the model that has become stale and tasteless.

Does this mean that telesummits no longer have a place? On the contrary! It’s still the BEST online marketing strategy to date. And over the past 12-months, I’ve worked on a dozen or so telesummits where my clients have pushed the envelope, changed the game and broke the rules.

While many are decrying the telesummit model, the telesummits my clients are hosting are:

Standing out in the marketplace

Helping them to share their mission with a worldwide audience in a cost effective way

Allowing them to create more spare time in their calendar for fun

Helping them attract the attention of movers and shakers in their niche so they can create profitable joint ventures

Earning them mucho mucho dollars that supplement and skyrocket their income

Making it easier for them to create their tribe online

If you’re open to learning how to make your next telesummit stand out, join me on Wednesday July 21, 2010 at 8pm Eastern where I’ll share some strategies with you.

I’m calling this audio training:

How to Remove the Stale Stench of Mediocrity from Your Next Telesummit So It Stands Out, Makes You Money, Frees Up Your Time for More Fun & Helps You Share Your Mission

With all this doom and gloom about the state of telesummits, don’t you deserve to find out what it takes to make yours more profitable? If so, click here to find out how you can get the call-in details for this audio training taking place on Wednesday July 21st at 8pm Eastern.

I look forward to hosting you on this engaging and interactive call.

So, you planned a telesummit. You gave the speakers their affiliate URLs, you reminded your list about the upcoming event and you even wrote up a press release. Yet, after all that effort, only a handful of the expected hundreds actually registered to attend.

Or, you offered your entire telesummit for free and immediately after it was over, there was a mass exodus from your list. You’re dismayed that after delivering all that awesome content, you’re seeing 10-20 unsubscribes per week.

Oh, the weary life of a virtual event organizer. I know because I’ve been there. After thousands of hours of planning, producing and hosting virtual events, it can be a hit on your confidence when you have more speakers than attendees.

You must be wondering:

“Why won’t they sign up?”

That’s the question I’m going to answer on Wednesday June 9, 2010 at 8pm Eastern in a FREE 75-minute teleclass. Not only will I answer that question above, but you’ll also learn:

Why GREAT CONTENT doesn’t fill telesummits or virtual events and what you should be using instead.

The 4 C’s you MUST KNOW so you fill your telesummits and virtual events WITH EASE.

The SIMPLE way to attract attention to your virtual event (this tool is so subtle & effective, you’ll kick yourself for not using it after you find out what it is).

How to craft your virtual event pink spoon so you ATTRACT LEADS and get them to buy.

How one woman used Leesa’s tips to INCREASE enrollment in her virtual event by 1600% (I’ll share with you what she did on this call)

The old school marketing tactic you can no longer afford to ignore and how to use if EFFECTIVELY in today’s marketplace.

What to include on your virtual event SALES PAGE so you don’t come across as being too “sale-sy”

If you’re ready to sign up, just enter your first name and email address below to get the call-in details. Even if you can’t attend the live session on Wednesday June 9, 2010 at 8pm Eastern, sign up anyways because only those on the list will get access to the recording.

She makes $94,000.

Meet Casey Truffo. She attended my very first multi-speaker virtual event in 2008 and decided it was fine time for her to do the same.

Not only did she earn **almost** 6-figures, but she decided to host yet another one that same year…and has done so ever since.

Want to know how she did it? Casey will share her tips in a **FREE** interview with me on May 5th. While money wasn’t the only motivation for Casey, it sure was a nice perk.

Aside from Casey, you’ll meet another individual in this preview call who hosted a multi-speaker virtual event so he could connect with movers & shakers in his industry. You’ll also meet one more individual in this preview call who hosted a multi-speaker virtual event so she could share her message with a global audience.

Join Leesa Barnes, Casey Truffo and others as we share…

Virtual Event SUCCESS STORIES: How Consultants – Just Like YOU – Used Virtual Events to Skyrocket Their List, Their Expert Status & Their Income

This no-fee call is a SNEAK PEEK of all the great content I and my faculty of speakers will be sharing at the 2010 VIRTUAL EVENT BOOM, a 5-day virtual event taking place May 10-14, 2010.

To get the call-in details, enter your first name and email address in the boxes below. If you have to miss the call due to a meeting or another appointment, sign up anyways because only those on this list will get access to the recording.

And remember…

Virtual Event Boom starts shortly after this preview call ends. Listen to the Leesa, Casey Truffo and others share their successes with virtual event, then decide after the call whether to attend Virtual Event Boom.

I’m excited to say I’m one of the featured speakers at Suzanne Falter-Barns’ Spiritual Marketing Telesummit coming up in May 2010.

Last year, more than 300 people jumped in and they raved about it (Suzanne continues to sell the recordings to this day without even promoting it).

Not only will you experience a powerful energy shift on her calls … you’ll also hear people like an energy-shifting shaman, a Sufi marketing pro, even a ‘marketing therapist’ who help you get at the ROOT of your marketing issues.

AND – at a price YOU get to name. Yep, you read that right. You name the price. Suzanne’s doing this because of what she calls ‘the Expensive Running Shoe Solution’. When you buy top of the line shoes – you’re actually more likely to do the running.

So you get to pick the price that’s aligned with what you so you stay committed to the work. Cool, right?

All the fun begins on May 5 and runs til the 14th. If you want to listen to the Preview Call on April 21, 2010 at 8pm Eastern, featuring Mark Silver of Heart of Business, abundance psychic Andrea Hess of Empowered Soul and her partner, Jeffrey Van Dyk, click here for more.
